I went in with a reference photo and politely asked for help matching a nail color. The lady technician refused to assist with color selection, and when I asked another staff member ( man wearing glasses, greasy hair, consumed by his videos on his phone) for help, he raised his voice yelling at me. He stomped around speaking his language throwing his hands.
I felt Really uncomfortable and just remained quiet. Asking for help choosing a color is a normal part of a nail service, and being spoken to that way was disappointing, demeaning, and unprofessional. Just wanted to pick a brown color 3 days before Christmas that had a mocha vibe without burgundy undertone. It killed my joy filled vibe. I got a color that doesn’t depict what I visualized. Thank God it’s just polish and I can remove it.
I wanted the three colors ( first picture) but got one ( 2nd picture) that’s not at all what I was going for.
I won’t be returning. -
All around good service and I will definitely be making April's Nails my nail salon Was visiting the area and stopped for a manicure Really enjoyed getting my nails done here! It was so relaxing and the staff was very attentive. I always bring my friends here so they can have the best experience.

I cam here for the first time since I moved into the area. I am disappointed in the services I got here. I asked to get a full set with a design. The shape of the nails was fine. But multiple nails were cut and bleeding. I had to have them change the design 3 times because it looked childish and unprofessional. All of this for $60. The service not worth $60. I would not recommend this place to anyone. And unfortunately I will need to drive into cville ttodind better services.

I visited Aprils Nails on August 12th. I have very healthy nails, and the dip powder was so unevenly distributed that my nails cracked in half, causing blood. I am absolutely upset about the services provided. I recently moved to the area, and I would advise anyone to avoid this place. Instead, drive to Charlottesville to get your nails done. This place is not professional, and I will be reporting them to the health department as well!

Read the other reviews. Take them to heart. I wanted to splurg on myself because I have been working hard. I wanted to get the works, you know, the deluxe pedicure. I went in picked a color and sat down. I was not asked which level of service I would like, I picked a pink glittery color, and got a red glittery color. I got the most rushed through pedicure I have ever had. I think my nail tech was sick and really was not in the mood to work. I didn't say anything, paid and left. Not the best, just meh, mediocre. I should have made the drive to Charlottesville to Boom Boom where I've had consistently great service. I am disappointed. I was ready to spend whatever, but I got just o.k. and minimal. I went home and covered the polish with my own polish. I am going to drive by from now on. My advice is if you research the reviews, the negative reviews are correct, judge accordingly.

I go here every month for a basic pedicure. It's not a fancy spa experience, but they do a great job. The pedicures are perfect.

The absolute WORST! I went in for a polish color change because I didn’t like the the color I had done by my go to only nail salon (my choice of color). The man had NO personality, he didn’t remove all of the orange from my nails but I didn’t notice until I got outside & the nail polish was clumpy!!!!!! Did I mention they charged me $30 for a polish change?! I will NEVER go back. Do better! Your customer service lacks, your inability to paint nails properly is awful & you’re over priced. The drive to my nail tech in town is well worth it….

Didn't offer a choice of pedicure options. The service is bare minimum. "Massage" is putting lotion on your legs.
If I had another salon close by, i would never go back.
