We bought a boat from a dealer in southern Virginia. The first time taking the boat out after purchasing we quickly realized the bimini was not working as it should. After an unhappy experience with the original seller we decided to reach out to Dukes Creek. Harrison was very easy to work with and advocated for us through Avalon to have the bimini replaced under warranty. We will definitely be returning here for any future work on our boat.

This is a great place to launch your boat or jet ski. The roundabout by the docks allows for quick launch and recovery and the $10 charge is affordable.

Came down to Lake Anna with our boat, and we arrived it wouldn't start. We gave a call over to Dukes and left a message for the mechanic shop. Got a call back a short time later, and Harrison said he would take a look at it, so our vacation wouldn't be ruined. He worked late, found the problem and kept in touch the whole time. Harrison was awesome, and I would reccomend Dukes to anyone needing service. I just wish we lived closer for this kind of service.

I’ve rented from Duke’s once before and had a good experience. Stayed at Lake Anna this weekend and decided to rent a pontoon boat with 90 hp engine for a half day today. It was supposed to be 10am to 2pm but I didn’t get there until 10:45am. A 20 month old toddler will do that to you sometimes.
I was expecting to take the loss and miss out on the first hour. While checking in I asked if I could extend an hour because we were planning to boat to the cove for lunch and wanted to make sure we had the time. To my surprise the folks at Duke’s said they would adjust my time slot to 11am - 3pm to make sure we got the full amount of time at no additional cost. They were able to do this bc they weren’t crazy busy with all the boats rented out but regardless, it was an awesome gesture and greatly appreciated.
Aside from that, multiple employees I spoke with were knowledgeable, friendly, and had some great suggestions and tips. I can’t say enough good things about the people that work there. They also had a solid selection of snacks, drinks, souvenirs, etc.
Also, you are able to rent a boat without having a boating license with them. It’s a temporary license but super convenient. Can’t say enough good things about Duke’s and the people that work there. Highly recommend.
