As someone from out of town and vacationing in the area ... This gym was a great option for me. It helped me stay on track with my workouts while enjoying the area. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Very small, with very basic equipment that for the most part is probably close to 15-20 years old. It’s basically the equivalent of a high school weight room. No bumper plates, no place to really do deadlifts except in front of the power/squat rack(which there is one of). No rowing machines, no bench for shoulder presses, or equipment. Benches are all basically on top of one another, and very cramped. Tread mills are basically right up against a wall so you’re either looking at that or a 20” TV. Extremely expensive for what it is. I was paying less for more before I moved. This “gym” can only survive like this because it’s the only one in town. Mediocre.

I am here visiting friends for a few days from North Carolina and came across Fisher's Fitness on Google Maps. They offer day passes so I had to sign up!
I reached out via email to the owners and within 2 hours they had responded and provided all the information I would need in order to gain access and workout to this 24/7 gym when no one was on-site to let me in.
Things to note:
- This gym is clean.
- This gym was empty (6:30am for me).
- There was everything you need to get a solid workout.
- The signs on the wall are incredible. MYOB! Haha!
- There is many types of cardio machines.
- Two sets of dumbbell weight racks.
- Towels and cleaning supplies available.
- ESPN on the TV's.Overall this gym is AWESOME and every time i'm in this area I will be coming back to this gym.
Note: I've been an active lifter for 5+ years and have worked out at Gold's, Zoo Culture, LifeTime, Equinox, Crunch, Anytime, etc.... and while this isn't a boujee gym, it feels like an old mom & pop iron pumping gym. I got such a great pump at this gym. This gym is incredible in that way. Definitely don't underestimate it because it doesn't have a big name.

Absolutely love this gym, wish it had more variety of things to use other than that everyone that comes here is really nice, most keep themselves so it's no drama and no need to feel self conscious about being in the gym especially if it's your first time

The equipment and such is usually clean + useful in itself, that’s not what I’m rating about for those here to read, but I found the regulars there to be pretty abrasive and for some reason fox news is playing in both rooms for all to see constantly; one of the many big biased news stations out there and id rather not see that stuff when working out for a variety of reasons. (yeah this can be a laughable reason especially to many in the area but.. it’s not very inviting to see that sort of extremity at a constant especially as someone who partially dedicates themselves to dismantling bias, so it’s hard to ignore) These two are why I ended up switching when my month was up. There is also only one bathroom/shower but I could’ve lived with that lol.

It's a great little gym with most of the equipment needed for an overall body workout. I think it could benefit from a seated cable rowing machine. There are a sufficient number of stationary bikes, treadmills, and elliptical machines for cardio. It's rarely crowded, conveniently located close to town, and membership rates are very reasonable. Go get your sweat on!

Getting signed can be a bit of a pain. Speaking with someone is hard to come by. Everything squeezed into a spot. Most equipment is not very spaced out.
