I have yet to visit, but the couple of products I’ve ordered so far have been splendid! I also just love their mission, and everything I have read about the farmers makes me want to be best friends with them! I would dearly love to have a similar farm someday. It’s the way of the future!

Forrest Green Farm is such a gem in Central Virginia. I’ve attended their mushroom log workshop and was impressed—they’re incredibly informative, hands-on, and led by knowledgeable, passionate instructors who truly care about what they teach.
I’m also a big fan of their farm shop. Their products are thoughtfully made and high quality—especially their electrolyte blend, which has become a staple in my wellness routine.
Highly recommend paying them a visit or signing up for a workshop. You’ll leave feeling inspired, grounded, and more connected to the land.

This amazing farm and the Rahm family offer an abundance to the community. They have an incredible selection of goods in the "Market on the Farm" where you can purchase items such as dried teas, beef, eggs and tallow body products, flowers and herbs (just to name a few) that are all raised and produced on their farm. They responsibly research and source an array of other items, most of which are local, and can be purchased in one location.
They also offer several classes each year. Our family has taken a few and came away enriched by the experience and all we gleaned. I personally have taken the Whole Living Simplified class and highly recommend it to everyone! This in-depth class spans over three seasons where you are immersed in hands on learning growing in your knowledge of herbs, both culinary and medicinal, seasonal eating, gardening, and food preservation with other like minded friends in your community. The wealth of knowledge shared by both Krista and Sky is invaluable. Each class you will make several items to take home to use, and enjoy a delicious sampling of recipes from their cookbook. This class is an investment in your health and the health of your family that you will not find anywhere else.
Words don't always convey how amazing someone or something truly is so go and see for yourself. Stop by the farm, meet the farmers, shop the market, explor the grounds, come to an event, take a class, you will not be disappointed.

I just finished taking a whole living class at Forrest Green Farm and wow did we learn alot! This course was extremely intense and very well taught. We learned about all aspects of herbs from how to grow them, their medicinal properties and also how to cook with them and so much more. Forrest Green Farm also has a great little retail space that offers tinctures, plants, meats, dairy, dried herbs, etc. Great place to take a class and shop for healthy options!

Forest Green Farm is our favorite local farm. My family stops in weekly for our staples and they never disappoint. Krista and Rob have built such an awesome farm. Their knowledge of plants, herbs and healthy natural products is unparalleled. We are so thankful they are so close by, but they are well worth the drive from anywhere! Stop in and check them out, you'll be glad you did.
