Our guide was quite knowledgeable and made the experience much more interesting than it would have been without his insights. Lots of American History here. The room where the Constitution was drafted along with the first 10 amendments. Wow.

Beautiful grounds. The tour was nice but not a lot of Information shared about the Madisons themselves.

Always learn something new. Beautiful grounds, wonderful house tour. Great for an adventure or just to learn some history.

We had a great time exploring Madison's house and property. It was so much quieter and less busy than Jefferson's Monticello when we were there, which I was happy about. The visitor's center is really nice. The staff were helpful and the tour guide was knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to check this out as we are a homeschool family and have genealogical ties. Worth the time and trip out.

Incredible step back into history. We had a great guide that took the time to talk about the artifacts and furniture in every room and how they connected back to American history.

The house is a guided tour and I did not have time to wait for the next one. But I walked the grounds and viewed the slave quarters and the basement of the house was open. There was a small display of some personal items from the Madisons. I would say it is definitely worth stopping even if you don't have time for the house tour.
