Come create memories that last a lifetime at LKAtion! LKAtion is a 4-bedroom, 4 full bath home that sits in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a quiet cove where you can float in the water and not worry about boats running you over or wakes knocking you off your float. There is a private, covered slip to secure your boat and a cabana with tons of seating to relax on the dock. The home is open concept between the kitchen, dining, and living areas that open up to the spacious deck allowing for groups/families to gather together. There are THREE decks – all have a water view! When space is needed, the home has 3 levels so there is plenty of space to spread out! Each level has a spacious deck, one of which is screened in. There is a pool table, darts, fussball table, lots of games and puzzles so no one will get bored, even on a rainy day. Dish TV in four rooms and streaming/wifi! Did I mention a fire pit? Great for roasting marshmellows or simply sit in one of the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the lake view!
There are TWO PRIMARY SUITES each with a King bed and en-suite. Another bedroom has a Queen, and the fourth has 2 bunkbeds, both twin over twin. There is a twin bed with trundle in the alcove next to the bathroom and a Queen sleeper sofa in the family room. Sleeps 14 in beds.
Dog friendly – up to two dogs. Must be crated when no one is home. Must be on flea/tick preventative. Pet fee and signed addendum to lease required.
LKAtion is located on the public side between Hunter’s Landing and Stubbs Bridge. It is a Friday to Friday rental in the summer.
WARNING – there are lots of stairs! The house is 3 levels and there are a lot of stairs down to the dock.

We just returned from a short family vacation (8 people coming and going on different days) at LKAtion after the prime rental season. The setting was private, but convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the sights of Lake Anna. We found the house to be spacious and tastefully decorated with a thoroughly modern and well equipped kitchen. Everything was in working order. The two master bedroom suites, queen bedroom, bunkbeds for the children, and single and pull out beds downstairs provided for flexible sleeping arrangements. The unscreened upper deck and lighted and screened lower deck enhanced the ambiance and gave a scenic view of the lake. The layout of the house was excellent for socialization, celebrations, and food preparation, with spaces for alone time.
This waterfront property provided easy access to the lake, with a canoe on the premisis for our use. The many steps leading down to the water were not a problem for us. We were lucky to enjoy perfect weather, with warm days and cool nights. There were indoor things to do (including pool, foosball, darts, cards and board games, etc.). Even our teenaged granddaughters stayed busy.
LAKation is a pet friendly rental. Our very well behaved miniature poodle enjoyed being with us and all the attention given to her.
Instructions for check-in and check-out, Wi-Fi, and door locks were detailed and well organized. The owners were very responsive to all our questions and needs. We recommend LAKation to all those looking to spend time at Lake Anna.

LKation is a great location for a family vacation. My family (13 of us) had a great time there. We swam in Lost Cove every day we were there. Kept my boat in the covered dock/boat slip which made going out fishing or tubing very convenient. Lost Cove opens up to a fairly large section of the lake that had plenty of fish (catfish mostly but some bass as well) and was large enough for tubing. The house was very nice, spacious, clean and everything was in working order. We had fun playing giant Jenga, pool, ping pong, darts and cards. The mattresses are very firm but after the first night of sleeping on them, most of us got used to them. The stairs down to the lake are a bit intimidating as there is no hand rail but my 65 year old mother in law with bad knees was able to go up and down them without any problems. We will likely rent this house again next summer and would recommend to others looking for a place on Lake Anna.
