2 years ago I went into true value Looking for a filter for my furnace. The employees there seem to pass by me and was helping everybody else. I know I looked what at least 30 minutes for filter finally a man asked me if I needed some help and I told him what I was looking for he should be right back let me go see. 20 minutes later I see him at the register laughing then he walks back down the hall and tells me he's got to go in the back and check. No the 20 minutes passed by and I hear laughing. It's really funny isn't it. I have not been back to that store since and from what I see these reviews I can understand why. Sort of like pick and choose not true value

This place is HORRIBLE!
Customer service is 0!
I've come by there for 2 weeks now to get the remaining paint I need for my project.
3 weeks ago I purchased the one 2 gallons of paint and needed 4 gallons.
I was told they would order and it would be in by the end of the week. I came in that weekend and Placed 2 gallons of base on the counter and some man was just sitting at the paint machine ignoring me. I said excuse me I need to get paint mixed. Reply: The paint machine computer is not mixing paint correctly so I can't mix any paint today. I asked when should I come back?
Reply, I don't know! Someone is coming to work on it. "Rude"
We walked out! I called yesterday and asked if the paint machine was working and the lady advised yes. Well I drive in this morning put two gallons of base on the counter. I stood there for 10 minutes, no-one ever showed up.
I heard people back where the guns were laughing and talking so I walked back there. Two employees just sitting down NOT working doing nothing but laughing and conversing.
A gentleman asked if he could help me. I advised I needed to get paint mixed. A woman who was sitting on a stool not working said the paint machine is broken, it was fried by a storm?
I asked when to expect it would be fixed. Reply, I don't know !
Call before you come!
I said I did call yesterday and was told it was working.
Reply, Everyone knows the paint machine is broken so I don't know who could have told you that!
She advised she was the manager! Wow!
Not management material to say the least. A good manager woukd have made this right! No apologies or anything!
I normally support small businesses and have spent thousands there over the last few years but NOT anymore. Absolutely NO customer service!
The only person is Irene who is always Amazing! She's always friendly and will help if she can.
LOWES will now get my business.

Helped by a very young man immediately politely took me where i needed to find my item. cashier was extra kind and even got me signed up for rewards. Hard working and helpful. Thank you all!!

Nice place, has everything you need if something breaks. Customer service could be a lot better. When you can find someone they help you the best they know how.

Customer service has been lacking at the location for some time. Asked a associate for help with a light bulb. Gave me the aisle asked about base specs and was told to look at the box. Went to lowes and got the right item in 2 mins with help
