It was a little loud at dinner time since it is close to the check in desk for the resort. The food was not great, but it is convientlu located and better than many other options which you'd have to drive 15-20 mins away for.
For the quality of food, the price is a little high. You are really paying for the convenience of having a local eatery.

Service was rather unprofessional - several servers made me and my family feel uncomfortable and unwelcome by snide comments and bad attitudes. The food was honestly disappointing; it seemed of poor quality. I would be very willing to pay higher prices for ingredients sourced from organic or otherwise sustainably sourced produce. The carrot cake was good, but not worth $8 a slice unless it is organic and fair trade certified in my opinion. I ate here several times over a four day weekend, and each time my orders took so long that I wanted to leave by the time it arrived.
Two different nights my steak was raw. Two separate nights my food did not come out until nearly an hour after my family had finished eating.
The last time I ate there I became violently ill that evening, as did the rest of my family.
Servers were often joking loudly, screeching, and horse-playing during the evening when my family and other patrons patiently waited far too long for our food.
If Gordon Ramsey were to ever revive his show Kitchen Nightmares, I strongly suggest visiting Mac's Kitchen & Catering in Gordonsville, VA.

Restaurant inside of the Shenandoah Crossing Resort lodge! Fabulous food!! Generous helpings and a great selection! Breakfast was delish! Dinner delightful! Staff was so supremely friendly! Very nice simple decor not to done up! Really impressed!

Mac’s Kitchen is hands down one of the best breakfast spots I’ve been to! I ordered the steak and eggs, and everything was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with eggs made just the way I like them. The service was warm and friendly, and the atmosphere made the whole meal even better. Highly recommend Mac’s Kitchen if you’re looking for a delicious and satisfying meal!

Never imagined I would have one of the best tasting breakfasts I ever had at this hotel restaurant. The generous omelets were packed with goodness and the home fries were THE best I ever had. Super service and lovely setting. Don’t hesitate to try!

Wife and I are very happy that Mac's moved to the Lodge. Friday Jan 19 we had a AWESOME DINNER THE RIBEYE AND SALMON WHERE QUALITY OF A HIGH END RESTAURANT. The owner was out to meet everyone. He will be adding to the menu soon. Owners need to support him as you know bluegreen is hard on the restaurants that we had before.
Awesome food and service.
O ya THE HOME MADE CHEESE CAKE IS TO DIE FOR. -
Really good service. Really good food, the brunch burger is to die for.
