Moo Thru Lake Anna
Rating
Description
Moo Thru at Lake Anna is your go-to stop for farm-fresh ice cream made just down the road from a fourth-generation Virginia dairy farm. Founded by dairy farmer Ken Smith, Moo Thru turns fresh milk from the Smith family’s champion Holstein cows into slow-churned, handcrafted ice cream made in small batches in nearby Remington, VA.
At the Lake Anna shop, visitors can enjoy hand-scooped ice cream, milkshakes, floats, sundaes, and ice cream to go—perfect for cooling off after a day on the lake. Flavors rotate seasonally and range from classic favorites to creative combinations like blackberry Merlot with dark chocolate or bourbon caramel, with dairy-free sorbets and sugar-free options always available.

When we were in line to get our ice cream, they left my ice cream sitting there for like 10 minutes just sitting there and getting other people‘s ice cream and that were behind us and my grandma asked for a medium sundae. She got a small sundae and she also asked for no whipped cream, but they still gave her whipped cream
