This place is phenomenal for both adults and kids. There are tons of animals to see. It is very clean and it looks like the animals are well taken care of. Jake and Elizabeth are very knowledgeable. My 7-year-old nephew and I both loved it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible Birthday Experience!
We celebrated my daughter Maci's 7th birthday at My Three Chambered Heart and I cannot rave about this place enough. We booked the birthday package, which included a private party room for cupcakes, food, and gifts—and the best part was that we had the entire museum to ourselves. We had about 10 kiddos and 13 adults, and every single person had an amazing time.
Jake and Elizabeth were phenomenal hosts. Jake is incredibly knowledgeable, and both he and Elizabeth were so patient, kind, and engaging with our group—which ranged from ages 3 to 16! There was also another young gentleman helping out, and although I can’t remember his name, he was equally sweet, helpful, and kind.
My daughter Maci asked for a snake-themed birthday party, and I’m SO glad we found My Three Chambered Heart. You can instantly tell how much they care about their animals—the museum was clean, the enclosures were well maintained, and the animals were clearly well loved and looked after.
The kids got several hands-on interactions, including holding two different snakes, petting Bo, getting to feel various animal textures, and even watching a snake eat a mouse! We also learned a ton—like the difference between turtles, tortoises and the third one in blanking on at the moment, and even the native turtle species here in Virginia. The activities were so engaging, and the kids got to ask as many questions as they wanted. Jake and Elizabeth answered everything with so much enthusiasm and patience.
Everything was set up beautifully, every kiddo received something special to take home, and the birthday girl was absolutely over the moon. All the parents kept saying how great the party was, and my kids are still talking about it.
We will 100% be back—for a field trip, a homeschool day, or just a fun visit to the museum. Thank you so much, My Three Chambered Heart, for making my daughter’s birthday so magical and memorable. Truly a five-star experience. 💛🐍

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. The employees were knowledgeable and passionate about these amazing creatures. The owner was extremely patient with our young, energetic son. We will definitely be returning!

If you love reptiles, and you want to learn more, this is the place to go! The owner, Jake, knows a lot, cares a lot, and is incredible to talk to. Also you might the opportunity to handle some of the animals, and they are wonderful. Made my first visit today, definitely won’t be my last. I learned a lot and had a great time.

Cute little museum and live reptiles. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Brought out a few of the reptiles for our kids to hold or pet.

My Three Chamber Heart is an absolute gem. The owner is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable, and he takes his time to answer every question with patience and enthusiasm. You can tell how much he genuinely cares about each animal. They are all well cared for, healthy, and comfortable. The experience is very hands-on and interactive, which made it not only memorable, but meaningful. Whether you’re curious about reptiles or already love them, this is an amazing place to visit. Highly recommend!

Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!! We had such a great experience here and the staff was AWESOME and so knowledgeable! My 2 year old had the best day ever especially feeding the tortoises! Thankfully we chose to come when we did because they’ll shortly be going in for the winter. Anyways I can’t recommend this place enough!!

This museum of phenomenal! They did an amazing job sharing information and keeping everyone interested and involved during our trip! We learned so much, and we can't wait to go back!
